For decades science fiction foretold of a strange future quite different from what it was at the time and a great many of the things predicted did, indeed, come true. Now another prediction seems to be on the periphery between fiction and fact – that of human sexual relations with robots.
An article on the Natural News web site, a few months ago, indicated that a study showed many Britons would not consider having sex with a robot as cheating. It “was seen to not have any significant difference as to watching adult films or using sex toys while in a romantic human relationship.”1 And the Daily Mail in United Kingdom states “Germans are enthusiastic about the introduction of robot sex dolls to the mainstream market, with one in five saying they would like to buy one?”2
⦁ Do you think this would be nothing more than using a mechanical pleasure device?
⦁ Do you think this activity will become accepted as normal?
⦁ How would you feel about your spouse buying one?
⦁ Would this be contrary to God’s commandment, “You shall not commit adultery” (Exodus 20:14)?
Something to think about, huh? Please give your comment below.

I think it’s not for me , but like Richard says if it keeps people from doing things they shouldn’t do then maybe it’s okay
Thank you, Lisa.
There are people in this world who are overly sexed, perhaps it’s a hypothalamus problem or a psychological problem, but the fact is that they are out there. This list of people with heightened sexual desires seem to let their desires rule their life or invade and upset the life of others such as rapists, pedophiles and other undesirables.
Sex is a billion-dollar business from adult movies to subliminal advertising. Sex toys such as the inflatable dolls may just help many of these people have the orgasm they seek, so I’m assuming that if they had sex with a robot this may be a better solution to what they crave.
My point is if these things can keep these types of people “in-check”, whereas they perform their lude acts in private and not seek sexual intervention with other humans, I think it is a good idea.
As far as committing sin that would be between them and our Almighty.
Thanks for the comment, Richard. You make a good point about maybe being a deterrent to some people acting out their desires.
The Bible says that if you look at a woman with lust, then you are committing adultery. If you look at a robot as if it was a woman, then you must be commiting adultry too.
Yes, nice reference to Matthew 5:28.
